    Hi:

I have a plant that just keeps growing up and up and up. Its very easy to maintain and often sprouts little baby ones at the bottom. It is about 30" high now from the soil up. Will it become a little tree? But the main branch looks so delicate, I don't know quite what to make of it.

I've had this plant for probably 5-6 years now and since then it's probably had 6-10 little babies.

    Do you know anything more?

    Faustina
    Thanks

Pilea peperomioides is the species name, Urticaceae the Family name. In botanical taxonomic nomenclature it would generally be referred to simply as Pilea peperomioides. This name would be the best to use to obtain information about the plant from reference books and internet search databases.
