    Hi,

I recently purchased this plant and it seems to have lack of something. Im not sure what plant it is or what to do to get her healthy again. Random leaves start to dry out in patches and then fall out. Is it a disease or lack of nutrients? I spray water on her and have changed her to a sunnier spot but it hasnt helped much.
    Please advice.

    Thanks

I believe it's a Pachira aquatica aka Money Tree. It likes bright light but no direct light. I had one of these with the same problem but no help so good luck with yours! Do a search, there should be tons of info. It could be that the soil has dried out too much.

I can't tell you much about the plant itself but I can definitely say it needs a bigger pot. . .much bigger in fact I'd go double the size of the one it's in or larger. I've seen those sporadic brown death spots all too many times. . .the good news is that once it's not rootbound anymore it will begin to look good fast. I hope I've helped. :)
