My jade plant has begun to have withered leaves with spots. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and what I should do about it?

    Thanks!

There are several possibilities: brown spots can be caused by underwatering. Did the plant get sufficient water over the summer? On the other hand, wilting, discoloured leaves can indicate overwatering. You should also check the ventilation around the plant, as this could be a fungal problem.
Has the plant perhaps been moved recently? You should check to make sure the plant is receiving sufficient light and is well situated: eg. away from air conditioning heating ducts, or any drafts.
    I hope this helps.
