Is this Kalmia?

    A customer brought me to a piece of this plant, and I stumped...


    The plant was described as a shrub, about 5 feet tall. It is flowering now here the Northeast. Thats all I have!

    Looks very much like Dogbane (Apocynum) but not Kalmia

    Its an Asclepias species, maybe A. incarnata. It is a perennial, not a shrub.

    A clear close-up of the flowers would help. Could be a milkweed.

    Thank you guys.

    I wish I had a chance to take more pics, but the piece I had has now dried up!


    The flowers were so similar to a Kalmia, but you guys know better than me!


    I appreciate the help, I look up those plants.
