japanese maples violated by roundup help!!!

    my husband doing yard work sprayed roundup all around my two baby J. maples and now they are dying. some leaves look healther still attached and showing no signs of their impeding death so to come. compared to the ones laid out on the grass scroched and fried out looking little fellas.can i revive them? and if so how????

    Watering the leaves to wash off any roundup may help, if it was applied recently.

    I would remove all the leaves that were sprayed. Roundup is systemic, meaning it will absorb into the plant throught the leaves and travel to the roots. Removing the leaves may help prevent or reduce the poison reaching the roots.

    It is too late to wash the roundup off the leaves. It becomes waterproof after 30 minutes.
