I wondered if any backyard grower on the forum has had experience with Van Well Nursery in Washington state. Their selection, prices, and even the fact they are willing to do small orders, are positives as far as I can tell -- just wondered how anybody's experience might have been concerning tree quality and service (such as delivery within stated time-frame, ability to communicate with them, order accuracy).

Looking at cherries and/or cherry rootstock, by the way.

I have done business with them for many years. They are wonderful to work with. I love their selection of some of the newer varieties especially the stellar series of peaches which allow precise timing of ripening throughout the summer.
I have planted over two acres of fruit and nut trees from them. The quality of the trees has been exceptional and they replace any that don't break dormancy. My last large order, I received a phone call from Cheryl Van Well asking if it would be ok if she dropped the trees off at my house since she was making a trip through town!
