Amanogawas are one of the last cultivars to bloom. They're still looking good on May 9, 2009. Here are some locations reported in 2009 and some from 2008: Richmond: six trees at the intersection of Minoru Blvd and Westminster Hwy [edited by wcutler] and at the Sandman Hotel, see photos. Burnaby: this was posted last year: Several Amanogawas line the street on Douglas west of Halifax, outside the Masonic Cemetary West Vancouver: four locations of single trees posted in an area east of 15th, north from Haywood. Riley Park: SW corner of Quebec and 40th Avenue, April 30, 2008. Kensington/Cedar Cottage: in the parking lot of medical building, 1750 E. 10, east of Commercial Drive, May 2, 2008. Kensington/Cedar Cottage: in between buildings off the back lane of E. 11, east of Commercial Drive, May 2, 2008.
