These are the first pictures taken with my new AF Micro-NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8
lens on a Nikon D80 camera. The fruit and vegetables were on the counter top and these are my first shots. The pictures have not been processed, simply off the camera.

There is not much to take pictures of at this time of year. The shots outdoors of flowers should be interesting.

I know this is old but I would recommend this lens to anyone for botanical photography. It is reasonably priced and has good build quality.

It is on my camera most of all the lenses I own.

Most of the shots from my gardening blog are taken with the Micro-Nikkor 60mm/2.8

Nice pictures. As clear as can be. I usually go for information and tend to be a bit sloppy on the photogrphy, as long as the information and context is presented. With flowers I like to see an overview of the plant and area of growth, then a fine perfect closer-up as you produce. But I am going for information that is useful for a gardener.Well done.
