I'm interested in growing a lemon tree indoors in a container. I was hoping that someone with experience can tell me that it is not only possible, but easy!! Also, I'd like to find out where I could buy Improved Meyer Lemon trees in the Vancouver area. Thanks for any advice or guidance you can give!

I bought mine at Cedar Rim Nurseries in Langley BC.
You can grow lemons indoors but they do not like the dry heat of your home heating system. Water frequently and spray the leaves every two weeks with Miracid.
I have been growing them outside in North Vancouver for three years now and they have survived nicely. I do protect them when it gets cold by throwing a comforter over it. If it gets real cold like last January I wrap a string of Christmas lights around the tree, cover it with the comforter and then a sheet of plastic. I also have it close to the house.
