I recieved a plant in rocks and water as a gift. The plant leaves look like philedendron but they have a dark bulbous base. The leaves have begun to yellow and drop and I would like to identify this plant so I can determine how to care for it. Can anyone help??

    Hi Zchuck,

Sounds like it could possibly be water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes). Evil stuff.
