I was given a cutting more than 20 years ago and this is the plant now. Have been told it is some kind of Euphorbia but cannot find out exactly what one. It has never flowered. The person who gave me the cutting called it a "Dragon Plant" but I have not found anything by that name that looks like it.

    Thanks

I don't know what it is, but it's an impressive specimen.

Euphorbia nivulea/nivulia (spelling?), I believe....all I've ever seen are much smaller specimens. According to the Arid Lands nursery website, it is fairly widespread throughout India, where it is used for creating hedges between properties.

I agree. " Euphorbia nivulea crest" however yours is a very mature
specimen. Great work. Keep it up.

It is not Euphorbia nivulia. It is Euphorbia nerifolia. E. nivulia has ovate leaves, which are much thicker than E. nerifolia. I am attaching 2 photographs of E. nivulia.

Possibly send your picture explaining the age of the plant to
the site that 'markinwestmich' has posted. They specialize in
these plants so maybe they could name it for you very easily.
She sure is a beautiful 20 year old. I thought also that it could
be Euphorbia royaliana, it has the more elongated leaves, I'm just trying to help out here. Something to look up and read about and check some other photos. Beautiful specimin, can't
see dragon plant linked to it though. By all means I would like to
know when you do get the proper name if we have steared you in the right direction so fill us in.

Thanks for all of the info. After looking at many pics on the internet of E. neriifolia, I think that is it. It seems to be thriving in the dry, high desert environment of Northern Utah. I moved here about 15 years ago from the DC area and it seems to like it much better here. Again, many thanks.
