I truly need help identifying this succulent!

    Please help ID this -I've looked everywhere and was told by a garden store that it's a succulent-not cactus.

    That looks like Euphorbia, maybe Euphorbia acurensis.

    Wow - after I looked some of pictures from googleing "euphorbia acrurensis" I think you're right.

    Most of the pictures have several columns in a pot - will this plant send out offshoots or do I need to buy more plants.

    Also mine is almost ceiling height - how do I cut the sections to regrow them? Any special length?
