Hello...this is my first question, hope im doing it right. My Cherry tree is healthy but the foliage is not as full as I think it should be. I was hoping you had an answer that can help me. I heard pruning the end of the branches may help or all the new growth. What should I do?
    Thank You

Be happy it's healthy. Cherries are very prone to disease (I don't know if that's as true where you are as it is here), and pruning creates an opportunity for fungal pathogens to get into the tree. Less dense branching allows more air through to keep it healthier.

That being said, I've seen a lot of weeping cherries around here pruned to look like a ballerina skirt, and they're doing fine. I think it's an unfortunate look, myself.

Yes: no point in planting a weeping tree and then preventing it from weeping.
