A series in The Telegraph: Part one: Europe Part two: Asia, Africa, Australasia, and the Americas I haven't been to many of these gardens, but I will say I agree with the inclusion of the Desert Garden at Huntington. I think Ganna Walska Lotusland and Mt. Tomah should have been included. I'm looking forward to visiting at least two of the other gardens on the list next year: Missouri BG (still haven't been) and Las Pozas. Kirstenbosch and La Majorelle are the two that stand out for me of places that I want to visit one day, but don't have any active plans.
Interesting to see that there where no gardens from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Fiji, Malaysia etc. I have seen some exquisite gardens from these countries. Maybe they just weren't good enough ; ) Ed
Or the Telegraph couldn't afford to send any reporters there to check?! I've certainly heard there's some really good gardens down your part of the world.
