I planted cantaloupe seeds on a small dirt hill they sprouted but not on the hill, im guessing they got washed away on the side. So i have a bunch of them on the side of there hills and some of them are close together. What do i do? should i move them back? or will they be fine where they are? this has happened with my other plants also.

Rich humus soil and manure for the mound, replant them spaced at least 24cm apart, and keep roots well watered once established. It must be very warm down there in Southern California!

I don't remember centimeters, but space mine about 6" apart in a mound and keep only 2 per mound. I don't direct seed them anymore (that goes for pumpkin, ect) but put out 2-4 week old transplants :)
