Wildflowers: IdentQuestion

    I am looking for a name for this yellow wildflower. It is about two inches in diameter and the petals have ragged ends. I don't have any this year, yet--this was taken last summer in June, so I don't think I will see any this year.

    Thanks for that. I was quite surprised when I subsequently Googled your answer to find that there are 140 species. I find such lists overwhelming.
