I just discovered hydrangea scale on my 30+ year old Cornus kousa. I cut off and disposed of all branches where I could see the white scale egg cases. Also removed a few dead branches. What next? Should I treat the tree with dormant oil in the fall? Are there other treatment option?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks!
