http://choul.notlong.com/ 2 June 2008 Giant Leopard Plant (Farfugium japonicum) Mis-identified, should be: Bigleaf golden-ray Ligularia dentata 'Othello'

Perennial. There are two plants along the fence. It produces a large orange flower.

This is a Ligularia, probably one like L. dentata. Farfugium japonicum is evergreen, with "leopard plant" referring to the curious yellow spotting of the common cultivar.

    Ligularia dentata 'Othello' most likely?
