Dhalias - When to pot up/viablilty

Hello,



I have a large group of dwarf Dhalias that I saved from last year. I wrapped them in

newspaper, and stored in the basement.


I have a greenhouse and wanted to start them early.


What should I look for to know they are viable? Also general care? Tips?

Note alot of imforation is geared for exhibiting dahlias. Contact your local dahlia society regarding best tips for a home garden in your growing area. Hope this helps.
