    And I did not know that B. was from Anacortes!

    Looked up the song: it is from the 1939 London show 'The Little Dog Laughed'. Written by Noel Gay and Ralph Butler, it is performed by Henry (aka Harry) Bidgood, an English band leader, composer, and musical film director.
