so i found these in my garden, but i've been finding all kinds of surprises recently.

are these weeds, or are they edible? my oregano went to seed, as well as my pansies, so i was wondering if these are one of these, or just common weeds...

    see attached pics!

    thanks!

Are these in your veg. garden? #4 looks like Mesculin mix salad green.
#3 looks like parsley, but not positive.

Actually I'd say that #3 is radish judging by the shape of both the seed leaf and the secondary leaves that are growing. The plant to the left of it is a small chickweed plant, a weed but it is edible as a salad green.

The last one looks like a variety of weed that I have in my garden.

    Hope this helps.

thanks everyone...i took the pictures into our local nursery to my usual plant guy. the answers are:

    #1 is oregano
#2 is a pansy seed, blown from the row of pansy plantings
#3 is radish, blown from the 3 rows of radishes
#4 is chickweed: i didn't know we could grow this here but the plantings are protected by the house and other plants, making a microclimate here i heard...i pulled it. my landscaping neighbours would not appreciate chickweed in their yards.
#5 is a normal west coast weed. i pulled that sucker too.

I was able to guess the oregano, having grown it as a favorite herb for dishes. The rest would have had me. Glad you have it solved.
