Hi, a branch on my Beni schichihenge has only green leaves. Should I cut it or will it revert back to the variegated leaves next year? The branch leafed out faster than the variegated leaves and it's been growing fast. Thanks

Hi SLR2009, that's a big branch to take off, but you do need to take it off, otherwise the stronger reversion will eventually take over. Now when to do it?? IMO as it's a large branch I would cut it out next month. I know others would say take it out now. My only concern is the sap is rising and the size of the wound atm.
I have a Butterfly that does this every year and I take out small branches immediatly I see them.
Whenever you choose to do it, do it you must.
    Hope that's some help.
