    hi
four years ago we bought a small magnolia tree which we kept in a large container on our patio, then about 2 years ago when it became too big for the container we planted it in our garden at the boundary fence ( fairly close to the compost bin) where it seemed to thrive until about 6 months ago when we started to notice the veins on some of the leaves were turning black, with the occasional leaf deforming into a puckered curl, at first it was only the leaves on one of the larger branches that were affected however it now seems to have spread to the whole right side of the tree, has anyone come across this themselves and know what is causing it? and are the black veins and deformed leaves connected or are the two different problems?, any info or suggestions would be much appreciated
