Hi, My name is Chrystal I have a 3 year old bismarck palm that i planted in the front yard. I noticed lately that the palm root ball is very loose in the soil there is a lot of movement in the base. should i be concerned?

Okay it may be planted deep. With Bismark palm the seed shoots the root then the root shoots the plant kind of different to normal. This method tends to bury the trunk somewhat. When potting these up in nurseries we used to always remove the top few inches of soil until the trunk base was at ground level. If this wasn't done the plant would sometimes do as you mentioned. If possible dig it up and re-plant it at a good level, maybe stake it and loosely tie it off to give a little support until it can stand on it's own again.
