"Little snowflake", though the leaves aren't terribly small, about 3-4" in diameter. Purchased from Davidsans, and so far I really like it - and the leaves do look a lot like reticulated snowflakes. :) Am eager to see how it performs, but, I think it may be receiving a bit too much sun in it's current location - has been moved from the front porch, where this picture was taken, to a spot beside my Beni otake; it got no sun at all on the front porch, just bright shade. Currently it receives sun until about noon, then bright shade, with a bit more sun late in the evening; some of the leaves are getting a bit crispy, though that could be a delayed result of shipping and repotting.

I have a feeling this tree will need to be treated much like Filigree, dappled and/or morning sun at most to keep the leaves from burning. Though not quite as airy as the Filigree leaves, they do remind me a lot of that cultivar.

14th April 2022 and my Koyuki is getting started. It needs a lot of daylight to get going, but when it does, it's a pleasure to have in my garden.

Here’s mine, wish I’d checked this thread and seen the light suggestion to get things going… mine was quiet behind the rest of the garden but it’s looking lovely now.

6th July 2022 and I'm very pleased with my Koyuki atm. Seems to be happier this year than previous. The roots have really got established after a few difficult years.
