    Oh, I hope it happens. I might even be able to go--it always conflicts with Apple Festival, but Apple Fest might not need me volunteering this year.

    • "Mushrooms and mental health" by Thom O'Dell
      • Thom presents a quick dive into recent research using mushrooms to treat addiction, Alzheimer's, and more.
    • Winners of the Fantastic Fungi Photo Contest
      • Announced by professional photographers Joern Rohde and Andy Dittrich.

    Walk with Gurus
    BC’s best lead walks at sites throughout Whistler. After registration, some groups will head out on foot and others will drive to trailheads. Please dress warmly. No dogs or collecting baskets.
    When: Sat., Oct. 16, 2021 @ 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
    Where: Meet at Myrtle Philip Community School, 6195 Lorimer Road
    Cost: $25 members; $30 non-members (FREE for youth under 18 but must register at checkout and show proof of vaccination if 12+)

    Mushroom Display
    Check out the day’s finds – you’ll see over 100 different types of mushrooms!
    When: Sat., October 16, 2021 @ 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM

    Cost: Pay what you can (no ticket required)

    Fantastic Fungi Photo Contest
    Great prizes for winners in five different categories and draw prizes to participants who submit a photo for all categories. Photos must be taken after September 13, 2021 and submitted by October 13th. Learn how to enter here!
