Too bad the poster doesn't make the location more prominent - hopefully they'll update it. I'll send this notice on to local garden clubs I belong to.

What do you mean? Is not the location: 1014 Ford Road, Coombs BC listed by Frog somewhat insufficient for you or what? Sorry, but I don't understand.

If you read the poster, it says that the mushroom event will take place at the NIWRA grounds at 1240 Leffler Road in Errington. I could send it out as is with a footnote that it is now to be held at 1014 Ford Road, Coombs but would rather the poster itself be accurate and avoid the confusion. Comprenez-vous?

The NIWRA grounds at 1240 Leffler Road in Errington was the location of the Mushroom Show last year (2018). Current year's poster is in the second message of this thread. The new location is written clear and prominent on the poster.

I think I see cause of the confusion: My original posting at the top of the thread was in April 2019, when little information was known. The link at that time was to the NIWRA page for the event, which likely had a very similar looking poster for the previous year, showing previous year address. Next post made August 2019 has the new poster for 2019 event.

I am not sure if your nice comment was for me or may be for Frog, or may be you didn't even bother to look who is posting.
Yes, unlike you, I have read Frog's both original posts and the dates they were posted, and they were very accurate and not confusing in any way. Too bad Frog edited the first post.
From what you write it looks like it is only you who created confusion.

    Hi Sundrop,

Just so you know - I needed to remove the link in the original post to avoid the potential of confusion for any folks seeing this events list, who might not notice the "2018" on last year's poster, which is still live on the old event link.

So far, I cannot find a webpage containing 2019 information, but when/if I do I will post it.

.... I've never been to the Coombs Fairground ... but hey as long as they have mini-donuts I will be mollified around this change <grin>
