Learn how to find and identify a dozen edible wild mushrooms including; chanterelles, hedgehog, oyster, shaggy mane, morel, cauliflower, lobster and more!

Gather around a fire for a "show and tell" of easy-to-identify edible mushrooms and their look-a-likes, then stroll about the forest to look for specimens in their habitat.

Note: This is not a mushroom foray where we collect mushrooms to take home, but rather an opportunity to learn the skills to forage with confidence for your own wild edibles. Geared towards beginner level.

This same half day workshop is offered on two dates in Errington, (15 minutes from Parksville) on Vancouver Island BC. The cost is $50. Registration is limited to 15 and advance registration is required. Register at www.jessicawolf.ca
