Orchid cactus (Epicactus) and holiday cactus (Schlumbergera/Zygocactus). Many kinds of the first type in general, both groups contain hybrids. The orchid casctus is producing skinny, bristly growth because it needs a brighter, more greenhouse-y environment. Treat it like wants and you will get big flowers for a short time each year, if you are not already. I have never grown and flowered these successfully in the house, whereas the holiday cacti I have long found to be extremely forgiving and liable to flower - sometimes twice per year.
