I have had this plant outside in 75% sun for 4 months. But it is not well.

I moved it out of the sun, but that didn't help. Could it be too warm? It is 107 degree, here.

How much water should it be getting outside?

It looks like it might be a fatsia-japonica. I believe they like their soil a little on the moist side. I would take off all the damaged dry leaves. Damaged by dry soil, and/or a sudden change in enviorment to direct outdoor sun causing sunburn along with extreme high heat.
