When to Down size my Hosta's

    I did it 3 years ago. I have Hosta's coming out my ears.....

    The hardy perennial Hosta, can be divided anytime, but most easily in spring or fall. I know a lady who lives in the hills of Up State New York that has planted perhaps 50,000 to 60,000 Hostas completely around her house and then out into the woods. Ninty-nine percent were from divisions. Her place has been in gardening magazines several times. - Millet
