Help! It's my hideous (6yr old) house plant and I don't know what to do with it. Can I trim the gangly stems back, and will they regrow? It looks like an indoor corn plant, but the more I look at it, the less it looks like one... is it a palm?? Thanks!!
What to do with it? I've googled the heck out of it and it doesn't say anywhere if it's trimmable, only the top can be hacked off...
Consider cutting off the the main stem below the branching and making cuttings from the leggy tips. Have a look at the thread Yucca - propagation & correcting growth | UBC Botanical Garden Forums.
I agree with Junglekeeper - and the propagation mentioned on the thread should work too. It is a Yucca.
