I have found a vine climbing on an old tree stump and would like to find out what it is. It has leaves in clusters of 5. It is also growing along the ground by the tree stump. The tree stump in at the edge of a shelter belt in eastern ND. I would also like to find out if it might make a good ground cover for another area that has several trees making it a hard place to mow as well as a hard place to grow grass. Before I think about trying to transplant it to this area in our yard, I would like to know if it is hard to control. Meaning that we have put edging around the area and would like to put ground cover like Ivy into this area to keep it green with minimal maintance. Would this vine work like Ivy?

    Thanks
