I fell on my tree peony and it snapped. I am so sad, don't know what to do. 18 flowers on it now, lots of branches, leaves, no roots. I can see so many pink new shoots around the place it snapped off (the head), a bit on soil on it.
It is 9 pm, so don't know what to do. I put it on a bucket of water, wait for tomorrow.

Can some one please tell me what to do to save the broken part? Cut of the flowers and plant the broken part in new soil???? Divide to many parts and put in soil???? Will it rot because I put it in water, all small shoots are under water now. I have to sleep and hopefully some one will help by tomorrow, some ideas, please????

I am so sad. please help.

They are very difficult to root, and it's the wrong time of the year to graft, so there's not much you can do other than enjoy the flowers and wait for the root to grow new branches.
