I have numerous rock walls and planting beds on the top of the walls.
I want flowering vines to trail over the walls.

I already have carpet roses (just) planted there for ground cover and hopefully a few of those will trail over the rocks.

I was thinking of in between each rose bush planting a honeysuckle? (I like Clematis but was told they will not trail - they only climb.)
Will Honeysuckle trail - any variety better than the other?
Any suggestions for a trailing vine that flowers?

You may not experience mold issues in the dry OK, but on the coast and in the wrong location/site We have to contend with mildew on deciduous Lonicera....especialy mixed with hybrid Rosa and climbers...I may be wrong, but the two are not compatible on a wet West coast...site preferences excluded...try a clematis tolerant of your heat levels...Vinca minor and the like...
