Now that the weather is warmer, the cliffs above Lee Bay, (Pender Harbour BC) are starting to wake up. Among the first flowers to appear are yellow mimulus but I also noticed an early Indian Paintbrush (last picture).
The sedum is looking remarkably healthy considering the long, dry spell we have had.
It will be a while before the wild heuchara gets going, but last year's leaves look interesting illuminated by the late afternoon sun.
A lonely flowering current survives in a most challenging place, and keeps coming back year after year.

Right family, wrong genus: that's a Sedum.

    Cressula / sedum

    I stand (and edit) corrected.
