spiny plant - Massachusetts

    Can anyone ID this plant?

    It was near the basal leaves shown below. I don't know if the basal leaves belong to the same plant or if they are a different species.

    The leaves were ~16 cm long.

    I think it's probably some kind of mint (Lamiaceae) (at least the upper photos). The fruits resemble those of Leonurus cardiaca.

    I'm thinking Galeopsis tetrahit (or bifida?)

    Fruit is a good match for Galeopsis.
