We recently purchased a whole bunch of tropicals but we have no idea what any of them are so we can't really take proper care of them, any help identifying would be great! :)

1 might be a cordyline, possibly one of the tradescantia's aka wandering jews. if it's tradescantia, it would be 'moses in a boat' possibly.

for 1 : are the leaves soft ? what abt leaf edges - smooth or jagged ? It looks like Cordyline if its soft ; if its hard and spiny, could be somthing else.

#1 is a variegated Tradescantia spathacea (moses in the cradle), as joclyn suspected.
