I have a few bushes of 10 year old ribes odoratum. Every year, they are loaded with blossoms, but no fruit. Instead, the branch tips which bore flowers shrivel and die. I get lots of fruit on my red currants and various other fruit trees, so it doesn't seem to be lack of pollinators (although I am not specifically aware of seeing any on this bush). Could it be that the bushes are drying out, or the soil is not adequate? They were propagated from a cutting of a bush which was loaded with fruit.
We have had a cold and wet spring. Alot of time that effects pollination. Hopefully next year is better.
