My red scarlet pole beans have beautiful red flowers, but no beans. The flowers just falls off. I thought it might be the recent heatwave in Vancouver, but it's cooled down and still no beans. My neighbor suggested I bought only flowering type beans, I checked and they are eating beans. The beans are right next to the snowpeas that are doing very well. HELP!

As a rule they won't set fruit if the temperature is too hot.
We have had unusually hot weather for a few weeks. It has only just cooled down the past two days, and sounds like the flowers have all dropped. Are yours receiving more sun than your neighbours?

Maybe an expert can jump in here with some other suggestions.
