Planting Raspberries

    when planting raspberries, does one have to plant a more than one bush like kiwi plants.

    San Joaquin Valley, California
    Raspberries can be planted by themselves. There
    is no real need for a pollinizer but the bushes produce
    better if there is another Raspberry nearby, even if it
    is a different variety. If you want lots of berries in a
    couple of years plant a second bush.
