In The Garden: Plant in Ann Arbor Needs ID

    Attached is a picture. I have nothing more than that and a request for identification. The guess is "sage". Anyone out there know for sure? I'd hate to have my brother add it to soup and find out it wasn't sage. Thanks ever so much. You guys are always great!

    I'd say sage is right, but which one? You won't really be able to tell that until it flowers.

    Even without flowers, I think it is safe to assume that it's Salvia officinalis.

    My brother added that the plant is no more than 2 feet off the ground. If that doesn't change anything, I'll tell him it's Salvia Officinalis. Thank you Axel and Hortiphoto.
