There are several vines growing at the base and up of some pine trees on my property. The leaves are short, narrow and dark green. In the early and mid spring, the vines have yellow flowers, much darker than the white and yellow honeysuckle I've seen, and the blooms aren't shaped like the aromatic honesuckle I'm used to seeing. They stopped blooming in May. I live in the southeastern U.S. Sorry I don't have a picture. Does anyone think they know what they might be? Thanks for your input.
