Here are pictures of my humble Acer triflorum to hopefully help. It’s pretty sun scorched after the week of 112-117F degree weather. I joined this forum just to post these pictures. EDIT: originally and mistakenly listed as Acer maximowiczianum
@Worldly_Wrangler, good morning and welcome to the maples forum. Your Acer maximowiczianum is doing extremely well in the circumstances. I hope you post some photos in the Autumn, as well as these Summer ones. It would be very interesting to see how it coped with this heat. D
Thanks for the warm welcome, though I just realized I made a mistake! This is actually an Acer triflorum and not an Acer maximowiczianum. I’ve been looking at a maximowiczianum hybrid to replace it with and had that on my brain. Please forgive me for spreading misinformation. I’m planning on giving this one to a neighbor in the fall and will replace it with an Acer griseum x Acer maximowiczianum hybrid that I think I will enjoy more.
