    The species in the 2nd photo is Leccinum insigne, yes?
    And strictly speaking it is a bolete, not a boletus, yes?
    I'm being pedantic, yes?

    Agreed - if they had said bolete instead of Boletus it would’ve been acceptable…

    Odd that they didn’t say Leccinum or scanner- stalk etc.

    Mushroom articles always have at least one error … it’s like a rule or something :-)
