Probably love it as long it is watered liberally and the soil is suitable. Do you have or see other species in same genus there? Native mostly to southern China, where it is hot and wet in summer.

Summer drought is going to be a problem - bamboo is thirsty, as Ron points out it comes from a climate with a very wet summer monsoon.

Probably a plant for a grove feature in an enclosed courtyard with two or several storeys all around and a pool. Even then it might be too sensitive to mineral salts to grow there under ordinary conditions. As usual, it depends.

It certainly would look cool in the Greek landscape. Looking forward to pics.

maybe i have to look for a bamboo with less water needs ?

and one more question, how many bamboo plants do i need for cover an area 10x10 feet ?

One healthy, mature moso would eat that space in no time. A different, smaller kind of bamboo would take longer. Either way, any kind of running bamboo would fill the space fairly soon if doing well enough.

Perhaps a Mexican Weeping Bamboo would be suitable?
They seem drought resistant for me in Texas.
