    Hi,

I live just out side Vancouver (Langley). My south facing lawn has developed a disease of some sort. I'm thinking either fairy ring or necrotic ring but some of it is not a ring at all. There are mushrooms present after a heavy rain and dark green areas. Does anybody know what this is?

    Thanks

Fungal fairy rings often do make the grass greener in the vicinity of the associated mushrooms. Several different fungi can produce fairy rings; photos of the mushrooms are necessary for identification. If any pop up, please submit views of all parts of the mushroom, including the underground base, to the Fungi, Lichens, and Slime Molds Forum.
