I have 2 invasive pampas grass that Ihave spent the day on sawing down and chopping out the major core of roots. How do I make sure it doesn't come up again?? I wanted to make a flower garden bed in these locations and don't know if I can do it. Thank you

Just keep digging it and don't let new growth survive. It may take you several months of hard yakka (work) but they do come out. Then just work the soil over with compost etc.

That's it in a nutshell. If it does come back big, clip its seed heads so that it can't spread that way. If you had a cold season, I'd say cut it to the ground and let it freeze. Since you don't you basically have to dig it up.
