Help please! White marks on leaves

    Hi guys

    I'm not sure if this is scale or some other infestation or even just dust buildup

    There are white marks on the leaves and it looks almost like dried white paint. The marks wipe off when I run rub it with my fingers

    Not sure if it's scale as its not on the underside of the leaf; just the top

    Looks like dried water deposits on dusty fronds. Some of the material may be from spider mite webbing but the fronds do not show the speckled appearance of mite damage.

    Awesome thanks for that. And for your reply to philodendron thread. Junglekeeper to the rescue again

    It's mostly likely water deposits as you said. Since we last spoke, we've had a heatwave in the UK so no rainfall at all. I've had to resort to misting with filtered tap water but I guess it's still leaving deposits
