Identification: help id night flowering plant

Discussion in 'Indoor and Greenhouse Plants' started by Unregistered, Sep 13, 2004.

  1. The flower is white and starts blooming in the evening and wilts in about 4 to 6 hours. The plant has flat broad leaves from which the flower emerges. Each leaf supports only 1 flower as the other buds tend to die as the first one gets established. The base of the flower is on a white shoot about 7 to 9 inches long emerging from the broad leaf.

  2. Epiphyllum oxypetalum.
